Content Producer

Ewloe, Flintshire

As CRM Content Producer, you will ensure the CRM team's requirements and objectives are met to a high standard. You will produce copy for various email campaigns, as well as supplementary articles and you'll need to prioritise your workload, adhering to deadlines working within a fast-paced team.

Your copy will meet consumer demands for information, help improve their understanding of how to make the most of their money, and ultimately help solicit a state of Money Calm.

This is a role about communicating messages and information to customers, a solid understanding of financial products and services and an openness to learn are crucial.

You will also play a key role in uncovering demand opportunities for MoneySuperMarket to expand and enhance its content offering across all verticals, and in new categories and channels.

We are responsible for the conception, management and delivery of all customer-facing content on MoneySupermarket.com, predominantly split across our three pillars of production - Organic Performance (SEO), CRM and Strategic Brand content.

We are looking for someone with a background in financial services who is keen to learn and will build on our excellent communication and collaborative tendencies whilst being capable of multi-tasking to a high organizational standard. We are an outgoing, enthusiastic and tenacious bunch that aims high and rarely compromises and are looking for another person in this vein.

What will you be doing?

Produce email copy to a high standard, whilst always putting the customer first across all of our CRM communications. This includes solus, BAU programmes, newsletters and our highly personalised monthly email - Your Money Roundup
Write topical and bespoke articles and guides across money, insurance and home services to support CRM requirements and content team objectives that both ultimately aim to help customers along the path to Get Money Calm.
Clearly write about complex financial topics, and achieve specific business goals depending on where the content appears and to what audience we are talking to
Working with the CRM Content Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring all content required is produced for each email
Prioritise effectively to deliver CRM requests via internal management systems by given deadlines
Ensure CRM and broader content outputs are aligned with our brand positioning and tone of voice
Work with Content Manager - CRM to implement a new visual brand identity into campaigns, ensuring consistency and an instantly recognisable personality shines through
Work with the CRM Content Manager to plan content with ideation sessions and innovative thinking to come up with new and topical articles
Build solid and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across the business including CRM, Compliance, Commercial, Content and Publishing teams
Support the CRM Content Manager to help review and optimise processes to ensure the delivery and quality of content is maintained, as well as how analytics can inform and influence future article ideas and strategy
Consider the wider opportunities to enhance our CRM and Content profile across the business

What do you need to excel in this role?­­

Essential:

At least three to four years' experience working as a copywriter in a financial services capacity
Proven experience of writing for different mediums, including email and article curation
Thorough understanding of how email journeys work
Clear understanding of content influence on email marketing
Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear customer-facing content that explains complicated financial concepts
Very high levels of attention to detail when researching, writing or editing content
Excited about communicating with customers, improving their understanding, answering their questions and saving them money
A solid understanding of brand and tone of voice, good verbal communication skills and a positive team ethic are key
Not afraid to challenge objectively and respectfully
Solid understanding of personal finance consumer issues and products, including savings, credit cards, insurance, mortgages, investments, pensions, financial services and loans
Strong time management and proven track record of delivery of content to deadline
Collaborative mindset and ability to comfortably work cross teams to achieve a business goal

Desirable:

Background working for a digital business
Background in a digital financial services company
CRM and Journalism experience and knowledge of best practices
