Lighthouse Studios is currently seeking a talented and experienced Compositing Supervisor to work on an exciting new show "Little Ellen" for Warner Bros.! In addition to learning from your colleagues, you also have the opportunity to partake in our in-house learning and development programme, so you can be sure that your time at Lighthouse will be beneficial for you not only now but for years to come.Of course, we also have many other benefits such as a pension plan, employee assistance programme, health and wellness benefits, regular crew parties and much more!Key responsibilities: * Working directly with the Series Director and Art Director to develop and achieve the final picture * Supervising and guiding the Composite team creatively and technically * Keeping the Composite Department on an achievable and consistent delivery schedule, and as such is answerable to the Series Production Manager/Line Producer * Review all animatic and breakdown notes for Comp in Shotgun. Supplying artistic solutions to problems * Responsible for the Comp render guidelines and technical breakdown of shots/scenes * When required, assist the Comp department artists with the following tasks * Render background elements from Adobe Photoshop, and animation sequences from Harmony * Layer each sequence/scene you are provided with using ToonBoom Harmony * Add camera-moves, masks, filters, blurs, colour-adjustments, particle effects, time-effects and anything else that generally falls under the umbrella of 2D compositing * Archive relevant comp material for partial reuse in the future * Review final picture with the Director for any changes that may be required before lock and delivery to clientThis list is not exhaustive and might be complemented by reasonable and related tasks that are requested of you. Key requirements: * At least 2+ years of experience as a Compositing Supervisor; * Expert knowledge in Toon boom Harmony is essential; * Be driven and able to work effectively on an independent basis; * Fluent in English; * Ability to communicate well in a fast-paced and creative environment; * Must possess excellent time management skills with the utmost respect for deadlines; * Be available on messaging systems and by emails during working hours; * Must be willing to relocate to Kilkenny.
