We require a Compliance Editor to join our clients vibrant and fast paced Compliance Team based in Knutsford, Cheshire to provide intensive content screening services and versioning of master for our clients. Viewing all content material, both movies and TV programs, from a compliance perspective the successful candidate will be required to vigilantly screen and edit the content as per guidelines provided. This role Involves working with other teams globally and adhering to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for content, confidence in communicating both internally and externally, along with a strong work ethic. Previous experience within a media/ content environment is required along with a strong understanding of the Arabic culture and language.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Non-Linear Editing using Premiere.Attention to detail and accurate content screening and versioning of material using PremiereAwareness of various client's content guidelines to enhance the creative and quality of programming by diligent screening and versioning.Compliance editing from previously screened content using EDLsEditing other formats including compiling of programmes, audio laybacks and subtitling.QC of MastersReceive and prepare digital content for Technical departments.COM/AVOD liaison and support.Producing and maintaining accurate detailed records of communications and materials as required.Managing & monitoring deadlines.Personnel training within the departmentDown/up loading digital content to /from a variety of sources.Updating metadata where appropriate;Supporting internal staff members with general digital assets enquires at their request.Completing ad hoc projects as instructed by members of the Senior Management Team.Qualifications & ExperienceArabic and English speaking is essential, with an understanding of Arabic culture.Advanced knowledge of NLE editing using PremiereKnowledge of digital video standard including broadcast codecs, frame rates, aspect ratio preservation and standards conversion.Exemplary attention to detail and accurate content screeningExperience versioning masters per guidelines within the airline industry or Ofcom would be advantageous.Experience with subtitle formats would also be beneficial.Basic familiarity of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel are beneficial, as are general PC-based skills and experienceExcellent communication skills both written, and speaking are essential.The ability to consistently deliver work of high quality against tight deadlines is considered an important attribute for people performing this roleKnowledge of additional languages would be useful.TeamworkFlexibilityPlanning and Organising
