Casting Researcher/Junior Casting AP

Chorleywood, Hertfordshire

Channel 4's A Place in the Sun is expanding and looking for an experienced Casting Researcher or Junior Casting AP (Self-Shooting) to join the team looking for contributors for this award winning series.

Ideally, you will be great with people and a superb judge of character. You will have previous casting credits on formatted/factual entertainment/reality programmes and experience of casting contributors from scratch. Candidates will be required to cast, shoot and edit broadcast standard screen tests and back story sequences for channel approval - these will be included in the final TX.

You must be confident shooting and recording using radio mics and cutting on Adobe Premiere Pro. The ideal candidate will thrive on the demands of a high volume fast turnaround series and be able to stay calm and maintain a sense of humour when deadlines become squeezed.

The role is based in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, with regular filming across the UK. A typical week will be 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days on location. The successful candidate will to start next week, May 24th to allow for handover.
This is an initial 3 month contract with possibility of extension.
You must hold a full driving licence.
