The in-house Drama Casting department specialises in casting hugely successful dramas including EastEnders, Casualty, Holby City, Shakespeare and Hathaway, Father Brown and Doctors.
The Casting Assistant supports the Casting Director and works closely with the in house casting department
Role Responsibility
You will support the Casting Director and will work closely with the house casting team
You will be the main point of contact for agents, producers & directors. You will arrange casting sessions, liaise with agents, deal with correspondence & carry out general office duties
You will be responsible for sending out script breakdowns and communicating last minute changes in casting sessions.
You will deal with late scripts & schedules
You may need to visit showcases and will be expected to go to the theatre to broaden knowledge of acting talent.
You will source young actors and cover some casting sessions if required.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
A passion for drama Television & Theatre
Casting experience ..
* A wide knowledge of actors and agents
* Experience of dealing with talent.
* Demonstrable understanding of programme making
* Experience of working in an administrative role
* Experience of dealing with confidential information
* Excellent communication skills & organisational skills
* Good IT skills are essential & a basic knowledge of editing software
