Camera Floor Shift Leader

We continually invest in the latest products from the industry's leading manufacturers, at the same time retaining an inventory of vintage and bespoke equipment, enabling us to provide a wide range of cameras, lenses and grip equipment. We also offer post-production services via our Digital Lab & Grading Suite.
Based in Acton, West London, we are looking for a Camera Floor Shift Leader to join the growing team to lead and motivate the warehouse team to work together efficiently and ensure processes are followed in regards to prepping equipment for our clients.
Day to Day Responsibilities
People Management
§ Organise and manage your shift, with your counterpart Shift Leader and Camera Floor Manager, ensuring smooth day to day operations.
§ Motivate the staff on your shift and build a team who work well together.
§ Ensure relevant knowledge and skills are taught to camera floor trainees and oversee their work.
§ Liaise with crews testing equipment in house and ensure they have a good experience with us.
§ Oversee the drivers when on the early shift and ensure the deliveries are carried out correctly.
Operations
§ Test, prepare and double check hires prepared by camera floor technicians for collection/delivery. Ensuring accurate records of equipment hired is logged.
§ Oversee the preparation and return of 'sub- hired equipment'.
§ Identify any missing or damaged items, adhering to the process for 'Missing / Damage'. § Ensure any damaged equipment is reported to engineering and the Technical Manager for repairs where necessary.
§ Undertake cleaning and general maintenance of equipment.
§ Ensure equipment is placed in correct storage areas ready for hire.
§ Assist with general enquiries or queries from internal or external sources.
§ Organise your shift to keep the warehouse areas clean and tidy.
Hours: We operate two shifts: 6AM to 2:30PM 10:30AM to 7PM
Requirements:
We're looking for a passionate, methodical and friendly individual who can hit the ground running.
A full clean driver's licence.
Flexibility with work hours as this is a key operational role Experience using or prepping film equipment.
Experience managing people is essential
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to work calmly & efficiently under pressure
