We have a Fixed Term opportunity for an Entry Level Camera Assistant to join our growing Studio Operations Team.
About the role:
Dock10 provides staff and facilities for many of the UK's favourite studio shows. Your job will be to work as part of the camera team on the studio floor led by the Camera Supervisor to rig, operate and derig all the camera requirements for a studio production.
You will report technical problems and ensure the appropriate use, storage and transportation of equipment.
The role is offered as an 18-month contract, with the intention to give the successful candidates the skills and relationships to operate as a camera assistant operating in the freelancer market in the future.
What we are looking for:
As a dock10 Camera Assistant you will demonstrate a technical understanding of studio camera equipment, operation and rigging/derigging procedures for camera equipment in a multicamera studio environment.
You will thrive working as part of a team and understand the importance of operating in a client lead customer service environment. You must possess excellent people skills and be capable of swift and creative problem solving.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation is advantageous.
