Dust specialises in LIVE STREAMING, BRANDED CONTENT, ENTERTAINMENTS, SPORTS & BROADCAST. We send crews with our kit out to clients, who include: UEFA, TVC, BBC, ITV, Endemol, RDF, Channel 4, National Geographic. We also produce online content, and multi-cam live streaming.A position has opened up for a in house camera operator/ kit room assistant. Must be willing to operate or assist on shoots around the UK, and occasionally abroad. When not on location you will be based in the office in Brondesbury, preparing kit for jobs, talking with clients, fixing equipment, coordinating crew etc.Experience in live streaming and using the software livestream studio would be highly beneficial.Responsibilities:- Ensuring accurate & successful preparation of kit orders to meet client requirements.- Preparation, testing, of equipment, & checking-in on return- Logging & organising the repair of damaged equipment- Updating of latest firmwares across all cameras- Making recommendations regarding new products and technologies- Advising clients on equipment needed- Booking crew for shoots- Cross hiring equipment from other rental companies to complete orders- Going out on shoots as camera operator, or camera assistantSuccessful candidate will have:- A full, clean driving licence. Happy to drive a van in central London. You need to be 25 or over for insurance.- At least 1+ year's previous experience working at a film & TV equipment rental company (or relevant experience) or 2+ years working in a technical role on film & TV productions- An excellent knowledge of existing film & TV equipment- A good understanding of live streaming- Occasionally have to work on the weekend, for TOIL.- A passion & strong interest in new production technology coming onto the market- An enthusiasm for shooting- Great reliability & attention to detail- Video editing skills (Preferably Premiere)- The ability to remain calm under pressure- Ability to work on mac and PC- Knowledge of Sony F5/55/FS7/A7s, Canon C300, motion camera, lighting and grip accessories- An understanding of codecs, digital compression and digital workflow, recording internally and externally from 2K - 4K raw recording is desirable- A working knowledge and understanding of social media- Experience of data transfer and logging- A basic understanding of sound equipment, 788 & SQN + 2040, Micron, G3, 416, Wisycom etc..Send CV and cover letter.
