The booking department will be looking after rights holder broadcasters' (RHBs) unilateral requests for the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar. Once an RHB has acquired rights from the IAAF, they need unilateral services to broadcast the World Championships (WCH) and also to personalize their programs. The booking department is the single point of contact between IAAF Productions and the RHBs. The booking department will also liaise with venue operations, engineering, finance, logistics, production and liaison teams. The booking coordinator will collect all unilateral orders from RHBs then input these orders in to a tracking system. The coordinator will be working closely with the booking manager to ensure all requests are entered correctly into the system.
Responsibilities
Assist in creation of tracking system (excel)
Input booking order forms into tracking system
Assist in creation of invoicing mechanism generated from tracking system
Assist in creation of reporting system for functional areas within the host broadcast departments
Cross-checking technical consistency of RHB orders
Check and confirm feasibility of any special requests
Assist in allocation of services
Assist in creation and management of confirmation reports to RHBs
Daily interaction with RHBs
Travel and weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications
Excellent IT and excel skills
Excellent follow up and follow through skills
Keen attention to detail
Must be a good communicator - written and verbal
Must be able to work under pressure, with strict deadlines and must know the international broadcast community
Position based in London but must be willing and able to travel as frequent trips to Doha, Qatar will be necessary
