Call Centre Booking Agent
Exciting opportunity to work in fresh and vibrant company based inside the world famous Pinewood Studios. Uni-versal Extras are a highly successful Extras casting agency. We have supplied Artistes extras, walk-ons, background and supporting artists for TV, Film, and Commercials for 15 years.
• Working hours: Mon to Thur 10:00 - 19:00, Fri 08:30 - 18:00 (with 1 hour for lunch). However, due to the nature of the film industry, you will regularly
work later than your core hours
• Please only apply if your commute to Pinewood Film Studios, Iver is less than 45 minutes
The salary for this role commences at £18,000. This increases after probation (3 months) to £19,000 plus commission with On Target Earnings of £23,000. There will also be opportunities of advancement within the company based on performance.
Key tasks:
• Making and receiving a high volume of calls to discuss details of potential roles with the supporting Artistes.
• To ensure Artists are apprised and available for roles in variety of productions which they will be required to attend at either short, medium & long-
term notice.
• Administrative duties include, ensuring Artiste details and diaries are accurately recorded on our in-house system.
• Maintenance of all documentation relating to a production using Microsoft excel and our in-house database.
• Supporting the Casting Agent on each production with breaking down of filming schedules, admin and casting when necessary.
• Provide a high level of personalised Artiste care at all times.
• Provide a professional service which meets our "quality assurance" standard whilst achieving the key performance indicator targets which have been set.
• Work within tight deadlines, making good time management essential.
Personal Requirements:
• Call centre or recruitment experience useful albeit not essential
• Be confident when dealing with the general public, work colleagues and clients
• Be able to work to short deadlines with good time-management skills
• Have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
• Take direction well and be a team player
• Have good organisation and note taking skills, and be able to multi-task
• Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Show a willingness to learn with a proactive attitude
• Be punctual with good time keeping skills
• Comfortable using CRM or web-based sales and people management systems
