Input Media are currently recruiting a Avid Edit Assistant to bebased in the Production Centre in Shepherds Bush, London. Reporting to the ACR Operational Supervisor.

THE ROLE
Runners must be willing and able to travel to other sites in and around London frequently.
Runners will be provided with 5 polo shirts and 1 fleece. This is standard uniform, which must be worn. Runners are responsible for washing and maintaining their uniform as well as maintaining good appearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be providing edit and technical support to our twelve Avid edit suites and our Pro-Tools sound suite
Preparing and setting up edit suites for bookings prior to client's arrival
Digitising a variety of sources to an Avid Unity ISIS storage system in the correct format depending on the specific job requirements
Encoding and converting media using various encoder systems including Episode, Vantage, iFFMPEG and Pipeline
Layoffs to a variety of tape formats from edit suites meeting exact delivery.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Previous experience in a similar role
Media related degree or equivalent preferred
Previous experience and good knowledge using Avid Unity ISIS shared storage systems, Media Composer Adrenaline and Symphony Nitris
Knowledge of Pro Tools
Full understanding of television standards and how television works.

WORKING HOURS
160 hours per month (shift work, evenings, weekends, overnight)
