Centre Screen is one of the UK's leading film, video and multimedia production companies, with over 30 years' experience in developing engaging and imaginative programmes for Museum and Visitor Attractions worldwide.We are looking to appoint a Producer with an established background in film/video and ideally multimedia production, and at least 5 years' experience in the industry as a Producer. Experience of working on large scale AVs and immersive experiences desirable, although not essential.The ideal candidate must be experienced in all aspects of the production process. A reliable, proactive person who is capable of expressing their ideas visually and in writing to develop appropriate and effective concepts, whatever the subject matter, in order to successfully pitch them to our clients. Experience in costing jobs is essential, along with the enthusiasm and organisational skills required to create the project on time and on budget. Candidates must be used to dealing with clients, and managing internal and external teams.The role requires a conscientious person who possesses excellent communication skills, someone eager to work under pressure, capable of juggling several projects at once, whilst working to strict deadlines. The producer is directly responsible to the senior management team.Key duties:Pre-production:Contributing to the creative approach in tender responses.Costing jobs and adjusting budgets to fit changing needs.Creating production schedulesAttending Kick-off / briefing meetings with clientsResourcing appropriate team for the job if internal resource are not availableDeveloping concepts, scripts, visual approach with the creative teamCasting - writing casting briefs for actors or voice-overs, organising casting, producing casting selections for clientsOrganising logistics of shoots including locations, booking crew & kit, actors, producing shoot schedules.Presenting scripts / creative concepts to client teamProduction:Managing shoots, supporting /director/crew/client requirementsManaging motion graphics / interactive developmentEvaluating budgets and schedules, reporting to the finance department.Booking voice-over or soundtrack mixing sessions, or booking external facilities.Sourcing music / existing footage / imagesOrganising progress meeting and reports with clientPost Production:Overseeing offline and online edits, grade, soundmixOrganising client previewsMusic licensingOrganising and logging of finished production files, rushes and mastersManaging the production of the final product for client on relevant format e.g. MPEG / MOVManaging and attending onsite installationsThis opportunity is for an immediate start and the salary will be dependent on experience.In order to assess your suitability for this position, we would ask that you provide a written explanation of the key skills you would bring to the role.
