Are you an experienced Assistant Stage Manager? We are looking for the right person to join our West End production of Matilda The Musical in May 2019. As Assistant Stage Manager you will report directly to the Stage Manager where your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Stage Manager in ensuring the smooth running of performances and rehearsals to the highest possible standard.
Working collaboratively with all members of the team to facilitate the needs of the production in rehearsal and performances.
Ensuring technical standards of the production are maintained.
Keeping all plot and cue sheets up to date and backed up.

Understanding health and safety policies and legislation to ensure a safe working environment for all performers and staff members. The ideal candidate must have experience of stage management and working with children. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is friendly and approachable. You should be able to work well under pressure and have practical knowledge of safe working practices. Previous West End experience and book cover experience as well as prop maintenance knowledge and sewing skills are highly desirable.
