Hollyoaks is an award-winning five-nights-a-week soap that entertains its teatime audience with a heady mix of romance, issues that capture the zeitgeist and big soap plots that get viewers talking.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team as a Assistant Scheduler. We are looking for someone to provide high quality administration support our busy scheduling team so you will need to be well-organised and able to prioritise your own workload. Our ideal candidate will enjoy taking on a variety of tasks and will thrive as part of a team. You will be involved in aspects of day to day production and will be working alongside some of the most experienced people in television.
In addition to the above you will be responsible for:
• The preparation of the shooting schedule for the planning meeting and recce on a weekly basis.
• Using WattWenn (training on induction) you will ensure the master schedule file is up to date from the "Production Board" so the Production Schedulers can pre-plan against any changes that may have taken place.
• Liaising with publicity, digital and casting in relation to availability requests for artistes as and when necessary and confirm or decline requests and clearance via Production Management.
• Updating the WattWenn Hollyoaks master diary on a weekly basis ensuring all clearance requests, are up to date.
• Administrating artiste holiday requests, liaising with Story Scheduler and Production Managers for approval, and you will attend the artist holiday meeting with the Story Scheduler and Series Producer on a monthly basis.
• Assisting the Schedulers and Production Managers where necessary with daily requirements.

Contract: Full Time
Contract Status: 12 months fixed term.
