We're looking for an outstanding assistant production manager to join our quickly growing team. We need someone who has excellent attention to detail, switched on, pro-active and eager to join a growing startup. The role is to work remotely in a dynamic and unique new business in the events space. Although we work in events, someone with a video/content and events background would be well suited due to the nature of our work.

At GoRemote we manage speakers who appear virtually at events. This is across virtual events, but also hybrid, where we manage the virtual element. We offer a top tier service and expect outstanding quality in everything we do, as such we want someone who delivers at this level. Our core focus is on large scale events and congresses, often with hundreds of speakers and thousands of attendees.

The role will be varied assisting us with planning and delivery of the events we work on. This includes: general pre-production and event logistics, communicating with speakers and clients, data-management and other tasks supporting the team to deliver the highest-quality service. As a small team, it will be involved with opportunities to try and learn new things. As a startup we're moving fast, testing and iterating so need someone who fits this ethos, proactively takes on tasks and can bring ideas to the table that improve what we do, and how we do it.

The candidate requires strong organisational skills and a methodical way of working, with excellent communication skills, and although not a technical role, a reasonable understanding of IT/Computing, video conferencing, video and sound. There will be elements of client comms, and we need someone who has a high-level of English. A second language, although not essential, would be very beneficial as we work across Europe (French preferred, but other languages a plus point).

Although initially a 2-month contract, the role could evolve into a longer term arrangement next year. With this comes the opportunity to work in an exciting new area, as an integral member of the team helping us grow something very unique in the events space.
