Assistant Production Manager (Dublin)

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Brown Bag Films are looking to employ an Assistant Production Manager. This is a full time fixed term position and will appeal to someone looking to gain invaluable experience in a creative and dynamic company. Working within the production team you will have several direct reports of both artists and production team members.

Key Areas of responsibility:

Work with the Production Manager and the Supervising Technical and Creative Team to ensure an efficient and fast flow of information across the departments
Manage weekly shipment for animation including any follow up and queries.
Manage weekly asset assignments
Arrange weekly internal reviews of animatics and animation passes.
Assist Production Manager in maintaining on schedule deliveries across all departments.
Work with Production Manager to forecast issues and work into impact schedules
Manage applicable Human Resources responsibilities including daily management of production assistant and production coordinator duties.
Maintain tracking documents and keep asset database up to date with all necessary information, feeding accurate reports to Production Manager.
Appreciation and understanding of the 3D pipeline and various impacts on production and schedule
Strong ability for tracking, schedule management and communication across all departments
Ability to communicate complicated and changed responsibilities in an efficient and clear way across multiple team members.


Person Specification:



2+ years' TV production experience (animation/CGI a distinct advantage)Minimum 3 years experience in production environment working to at least Production Coordinator level or equivalent
Excellent organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written)with strong experience in Excel, Google Sheets and asset software tracking systems ( or equivalent)
Very strong attention to detail
Strong troubleshooting skills
Capable of motivating and leading teams with enthusiasm
Past experience in managing and delegating to others strongly desireable
Comfortable in working to tight deadlines under pressure
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Direct knowledge of GSuite highly desireable
Knowledge of Shotgun asset tracking and data base software is a distinct advantage
Previous work experience with remote teams, overseas studios or stakeholders highly beneficial
