Job Spec - AP: 'The Secret World of...'

We are looking for a number of APs for a returning, six-part documentary series for Channel 4, which explores the history, science and cultural impact behind some of Britain's favourite food items. The role will start later this month.

The successful candidate will have a range of experience working across documentary programmes or series for major broadcasters. You will have excellent research skills and initiative.
You will be exceptionally organised, able to manage complex logistics and draw upon a range of skills and experience to secure access to high-profile and sensitive contributors alike. Some journalistic experience would also be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Securing access to global corporations
• Nurturing relationships with contributors and corporate entities
• Collating detailed information on topic and helping to shape this into interesting and entertaining editorial.
• Must be able to take care of logistics and manage a complicated shoot calendar
• We require a confident shooter who can nurture interviewees and support PDs on location
