Now in its 6th Year of production at IMG, UEFA Champions League Weekly delivers Broadcasters all over the world a run of 32 x 24' programmes a year during the football season, wrapped up with an hour long review show at the end of the competition. With an average of 6 shoots per week filmed all over Europe, the show consists of player profile interviews and stylised match reviews during each stage of the competition. Consisting of team features, individual player profiles and Matchday previews, the UEFA Europa League Magazine is broadcast worldwide - ahead of each round of games - by all competition rights-holders. The first six programmes, previewing each Group Stage Matchday, are 48'00. The following five, previewing each Knockout Phase, are 24'00 followed by a 48'00 review of the season. Reporting to the Producer, the Assistant Producer will be responsible for producing content for IMG's UEFA programming across the Champions League Magazine Show and Europa League Magazine Show. The successful candidate will assist the Producer in all aspects of the programme. This will include researching stories, planning and directing shoots, writing scripts and producing final pieces for the show. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of European football along with previous experience of working on a sports magazine show and filming overseas. Proven ability to script well and the creativity to bring stories to life visually are essential. The ideal candidate will have some experience of filming with DSLRs with a view to supplementing the work of the main camera operator. A second language is desirable. PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to work weekends and evenings when necessary and travel overseas for shoots. This role will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge. European and worldwide shoots are undertaken in a small crew of two to three people, as such you will be carrying heavy camera equipment. Applications close on Thursday 1st March 2018, 5pm GMT.
