Assistant Producer

London

We are very much a startup, and the working environment is exciting and fast-paced, which means that you need to be flexible - in terms of day-to-day tasks, hours worked, and a job description that evolves as we do. If you would like to be part of a fun, vibrant and passionate team - and most importantly to contribute directly to the direction of the company, content and brand as we grow, then this is the right place for you.

The Role
Our Channel is only as good as our content, and we are constantly striving to make sure our content is high quality, entertaining and relatable to our audience. The Assistant Creative Producer will have the opportunity to see their ideas become reality - taking videos from concept to final output through the scripting process.

The role will entail:
- Creative idea generation & brainstorming - you will be encouraged to come up with ideas and build concepts for content, either from scratch or building on the ideas of colleagues.
- Writing scripts for videos in discussion with the Head of Content and Assistant Producer.
- Making an idea a reality - concept, storyboarding, scripting and working with the production team throughout to deliver the final product.
- Assisting the Head of Content in designing and updating the editorial calendar.
- Helping to define the style and format of the channel's overall content.
- Researching and developing content ideas.
- Researching industry and community trends (including social media, campaigns, other channels, products etc).
- Planning and organising the logistics for shoots as required (licensing, permissions, locations, travel, accommodation, budgeting, call sheets).
- Covering aspects of Social Media Community Manager or Head of Content's work during holidays.
- Work outside normal working hours (eg evenings and weekends).

Structure
The Assistant Creative Producer will report to the CEO, and will work closely with the Head of Content, Videographers and the Assistant Producer.

Required Experience and Skills
- A passion for running and the outdoors.
- Experience working in a creative environment - production, publishing, agency, brand or other relevant experience.
- A good understanding of the full production process from the initial video concept to the final video output.
- Strong evidence of original ideas, and understanding of the end audience.
- Interest in all forms of creative content, including social media.
- Good knowledge of YouTube and video in general - what works, and why.
- Flexibility to work in a small, fast-paced team.
- (Desirable) Photography & video skills including editing.
