A long-running topical news quiz needs an experienced studio AP to help generate the content for the show. The main news stories speak for themselves but we need someone to dig out the nuggets of detail beneath the headlines.
You must be able to write pithy notes and questions for the guest hosts and provide substantial background material for the gag writers to work with. You must also be familiar with the editing process and ideally have already edited some material for broadcast. A thorough knowledge of popular culture and current affairs is very important but not as important as a sense of humour. We are not looking for someone who is just good at admin.
