Assistant Producer

London

FUBAR Radio is looking for assistant producers to help create new programming with some of the biggest names in entertainment from the world of comedy, showbiz, music and sport.

You will have the ability to work independently or as a part of a team. Good organisational skills and an ability to cope under pressure are also vital to this role, as is an awareness of popular culture and good general knowledge. A good understanding of social media and how it impacts live broadcasting would be a distinct advantage.

You will be part of a small but growing team of creative people. We love ambition and you will be given the opportunity to fulfils your goals as part of a team that rely upon each other to create great programmes.

FUBAR Radio is unlike any other in the UK. We are not regulated by the industry watchdog, so we are afforded a lot more freedom in what we can create. Imagine post watershed TV on the radio and you get the idea. We don't carry commercial breaks either. We do play music but when we do, it's unedited and heard in the same way that you download it.

You will be based in our North London studios.

Normal working hours will be 10.00 to 18.00 but the flexibility to work in shifts may be required and weekend work. You will be expected to work hard but we can guarantee you will have fun and notch up an unparalleled work experience in the process.

Key skills

Ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of Audition, Photoshop, video editing software (preferably Premiere Pro), all social platforms, radio studio desk
Effective time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment
Manage the development of multiple forms of media content, which may include: audio, visual, or multi-media; and may be broadcast live or pre-recorded
Have strong IT skills - particularly Word and Excel

We are not looking for this role to double as on-air talent. So if you are hoping to become a presenter on FUBAR, this is not the role for you.
