Our strength is that we offer a fully integrated solution for all production and web requirements, whilst our talent division supplies clients with access to a pool of specialist talent for on-going hires.This role requires an Assistant Producer who has had experience of managing corporate and commercial productions in an agency and/or client side. Organisation and time management is pivotal to the success of this role so you will need to be a highly organised, creative and intuitive person. You must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering production projects, live events and have a solid understanding of the costs and resources that are required for various scales of projects. You may sometimes be required to act as a 2nd AD or Editor so a technical understanding of production equipment and software is required.A major part of your work would take place in the planning stages of a production, where you would:- Work closely with the Head of Production on a daily basis- Meet the Client and other creative staff to examine scripts or programme ideas- Draw up a production schedule - Negotiate costs for hired equipment to make sure they come within budget- Hire the crew and contractors- Expert Knowledge of production documentation, release forms licences etc- Arrange any necessary permissions and risk assessments- Familiar with studio/gallery environment- Familiar with live streaming solutions and platforms such as YouTube Live- Self-shoot and edit footage using Adobe CCDuring filming, your duties might include:- Assume responsibility for camera and sound operation- Manage any additional crew- Making sure that the production runs to schedule- Reporting on progress to the producers- Working on nationwide and worldwide locations- Dealing with any problems during filming- Making any necessary changes to the schedule (for example re-scheduling filming in bad weather)- Making sure that health and safety rules, insurance terms, copyright laws and union agreements are followed.- Completing time sheets on daily basisRequirements- Minimum: BA or equivalent with a strong academic record and analytical skills- Minimum: 3+ years experience in TV, Film, Digital production- Minimum: 2+ years combined experience as a production coordinator, camera operator and general studio experience.- Minimum: Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.- Commercial knowledge- Driving licence preferred- Willingness to travel- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as part of a 5 day week and in exchange of time off in lieu.
