Assistant Producer, English Football League

Stockley Park, Uxbridge

Reporting into the EFL Producers, the Assistant Producer will be working across all aspects of their EFL content including the EFL on Quest Highlights show and EFL Partnership Production, producing live matches & highlights for the EFL's innovative streaming platform.

Key Accountabilities

Working closely with the Producer, to assist on the Quest Football League highlights Show
Delivering fast turnaround match highlights and match reports
VT co-ordination of The EFL on Quest Highlights show
Overseeing the delivery of incoming match-feeds for use within the production
Onsite producing for fast turnaround, pre-recorded shows
Experience and knowledge of stitch editing
Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate
Directing live, 1 Camera, EFL matches using remote gallery system
Providing replays for 4 x camera EFL matches, alongside director, using remote gallery system
QC produce match highlights for EFL Clubs and partners
Self-editing packages for EFL social media channels
Comfortable working to extremely tight deadlines
You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Required Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience)

Experience as a researcher/Assistant Producer in live sports television production
Experience of edit producing fast turnaround match highlights/reports
Ability to make editorial decisions without direct supervision
Demonstrates strong editorial judgment
Good team player
A keen eye for detail
Ability to multi-task
Specialist knowledge of EFL desirable
Experience of directing single or multi camera shoots desirable
Experience of dealing with Talent desirable(e.g. presenters, commentators, voice over artists & sports stars)
Experience of live football production desirable
Experience as coordinator in a live gallery environment desirable
Experience operating Simply Live remote gallery technology or similar desirable
Experience self-editing on Adobe Premiere/Avid or similar desirable
Experience with Adobe After Effects desirable

Working Conditions

This is a fixed term position (until June 2021), based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge (free on-site parking)
Working hours are on average 40 hours per week
You will be required to work on all Football League match rounds. Including weekends and evenings. This includes the festive period, Easter and bank holidays
