Assistant Producer, Digital

Contract Summary
Reporting into Producer, the Assistant Producer will assist the Producer in the creation and delivery of EuroLeague basketball content. Primarily (but not exclusively) for web and social media use.

Key Accountabilities
Producing short form web content from EuroLeague basketball
Create content in fast-paced environment to tight deadlines
Source archive material and create compelling and engaging content
Stay across social media trends and Euroleague news
You may also be required to carry out any other duties that are within the scope and purpose of the job.
Required Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience)
Previous experience within the media industry (in TV and/or online production) at Assistant Producer level
Experience of writing scripts for short features or promos
Excellent understanding of production workflows including digital workflow.
Experience of self-shooting and editing
Proven self - shooting and self-editing capability with Premiere and/or Avid
Use of NLE systems
Experience of engaging with key stakeholders, including talent
Experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits
Specialist sports knowledge in at least one sport and contacts in that field
Experience in a customer-facing role including proven presentational skills - dealing with Talent (e.g. presenters, commentators, sports stars)Ability to create original ideas and produce compelling content
Excellent customer focus skills (representing the face of the company/programme to the public/potential contributors)
Able to demonstrate excellent research ability and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
Use of NLE systems including Premiere
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Health and Safety Production Training
Demonstrates good editorial judgment
Shows initiative and able to prioritise workload without close supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Good team player
Positive, professional and keen approach to work
Able to adapt to changing requests in a fast paced environment
Good knowledge of IMG properties desirable
Voice-over skills desirable
Fluency in a second language desirable
Working Conditions
This is a fixed term position (until May 2021), based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge (free on-site parking)
Working hours are on average 40 hours per week
Occasional evening/weekend work may be required
