Assistant Producer (Radio/Audio)

IMG Productions is the largest producers of sports programming in the world, responsible for thousands of hours of content on behalf of more than 200 federations, associations and events. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our growing Radio/Audio department.

Reporting in to the Senior Producer, the Assistant Producer will be responsible for creating radio and audio programming of the highest quality to meet important client or broadcaster briefs and agreed editorial specification.

Key accountabilities include assisting the IMG Audio team in all aspects of their production portfolio included but not limited too; conducting research for programme content and fact-checking; finding and clearing material for programmes when necessary; sourcing contributors and conducting/arranging interviews; assisting the team to record, edit and deliver a variety of radio programming & podcasts; helping to increase programme distribution via various digital platforms and global radio station research and assist in the booking and management of Talent

The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Assistant Producer in radio/audio production; have experience in both live and pre-recorded radio/audio production and have experience of writing scripts for a range of radio/audio programming (live and pre-recorded). Experience and a comprehensive understanding of the programme production chain and experience of using and editing on various digital audio systems/software (e.g. Adobe Audition) are essential. Previous experience in a range of sports programming would be highly advantageous.

PLEASE NOTE: The Assistant Producer will be required to work one day per weekend (Friday &Saturday off). This position will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
