Assistant Post Production Generalist

West London

The virtual reality team at Sky are looking for a virtual reality/augmented reality assistant to join their busy production team to work across a variety of entertainment, cinema, sports and news experiences that sit on both the Sky VR app and social media.

Key Accountabilities
• Production of 360 experiences including use of 360 authoring tools to build compelling multimedia VR experiences
• Media management - ingest, data wrangling, archiving.
• Managing the post production pipeline, fixing problems as they arise.
• Working collaboratively with design colleagues and content specialists, you will have a keen interest in developing your editing/compositing/design skills.

Your profile:
You will have the ability to:
• Stitch 360 footage using AVP or Nuke
• Syncing of cameras in multi-cam VR rigs, resolving of stitch-lines and panorama projects from multi-cam rigs.
• Masking and (basic) rotoscoping (crew/rig removal/tracked paint-outs)
• Latest up-to-date technical knowledge of post-production hardware, software, plug-ins, audio and video formats
• An understanding of the Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Understanding of or keen interest in VR and/or AR
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of video codecs and mastering formats.
• A good knowledge of post production workflows and Mac/PC systems.
• Strong team-working skills and desire to work cooperatively and effectively with others.

Education, Qualifications & Training:
At least 2 years' experience as in a post-production environment or relevant qualifications from a recognised course.
Desirable
Experience with MAM/ISIS/Avid Interplay.
Cinema 4D skills
Unity/Unreal
Experience in programming C#

Previous Experience:
Good organisational, planning and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi-task and find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
