ASSISTANT POST PRODUCER

London

The Hub is the first port of call for all media arriving at The Farm. You will be working closely with Production and Operations as the Hub manages all incoming media from start to finish. From the initial workflow meeting, through to the organisation of copies, ingesting, grouping & syncing and client exports, the hub is integral in the scheduling and managing of resources across all genres.

Main tasks and responsibilities
• Managing all bookings of copies, ingests, grouping and syncing and exports
• Taking schedules sent by production and forward planning, managing resources and flagging when extra resources are required.
• Liaising with Post Producers and Ops trouble shooting any issues or problems
• Generating reports when needed for total hours of ingesting per project
• Attending workflow meetings with operations and post producers about upcoming jobs
• Help manage Farm staff working within the facility, including booking freelancers as necessary

Other Duties
• Cover for absent staff in the team within the remit of the job accountabilities.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and administrative tasks that are relevant to the operation of the department
• Attend relevant training identified to ensure duties are performed efficiently

Skills, Ability & Experience
Essential
• A good understanding of the full post-production process
• Excellent and accurate attention to detail data input and checking
• Proven telephone and customer service skills
• Evidence of good Excel and Outlook knowledge and experience
• Able to organise own workload
• Great interpersonal skills, with a willingness to interact and collaborate across various departments
• Comfortable working in a fast paced / fast turnaround environment, often under pressure.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot, without being phased by unusual / out of the ordinary requests.
• Basic knowledge of ScheduAll, FRED management and MS Excel
Desireable
• Trained in Library and Edit Support
• Experience of working in a sales or purchasing administration environment
