What will you be doing?

Being responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, creation and delivery of images across A+E Networks UK VOD services and partners to drive viewership and brand awareness. Understanding business/campaign objectives, to then interpret them into strong imagery that resonates and connects with audiences. On occasion creating key/show art from the original images. Helping to manage and maintain the A+E Image Library and image archive.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering the monthly VOD image schedules efficiently and on time, editing, cropping and resizing images in-line with each platform's specifications.
Locating impactful, appropriate and suitable for compliance images for the channel brands and shows from various sources.
Working closely and collaboratively with teams across the A+E business to deliver high quality and impactful imagery for the promotion of A+E Networks UK VOD/On-Demand services.
Meeting internal and external picture deadlines and ensuring all image requests are completed to the best possible standard.
Understanding business/campaign objectives with the ability to interpret into strong imagery that resonates and connects with audiences.
Being the main point of contact for all VOD imagery. Regularly liaising with VOD clients, making sure all A+E imagery is correct for each platform's user interface.
On occasion creating key/show art from the original images when a more high-quality layered artwork is needed.
Collating information for captions & credits, helping to manage and maintain the A+E Image Library and image archive.
Be a positive and proactive representative and ambassador for SKY HISTORY, Crime+Investigation, SKY HISTORY 2 and BLAZE to third party and partner organisations across all territories.
Support the Picture Editor in the evaluation of images and efficiencies of the image process.
Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the overall Marketing strategy set by the Head of Marketing.

Person Specification

An enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Picture Editor with a collaborative approach and a love for TV, to join a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should be proficient working with Adobe Suite products specifically in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
Experience in Picture Research
Awareness of copyright and licensing laws.
Excellent eye for detail and imagery that resonates and connects with our audience.
Excellent level of organisation with an attention to detail when sourcing, editing and processing a wide range of images for use on multiple campaigns and digital platforms.
Experience of digital content production and digital content management systems.
Comfortable in working with various departments across the business to successfully deliver campaigns with autonomy as well as within a team.
