ITV Studios Daytime creates over six and a half hours of live TV every day. With programmes on air from 6am to 6pm, there's a constant buzz!

The ITV Studios Daytime slate is filled with Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. The Daytime market is highly competitive and vitally important for both ITV Studios and our network. Most of these programmes run 52 weeks a year and are critical to our share of viewing. Daytime hands the ratings baton over to peak.

It's an exciting time to be part of our team with all of our big brand programmes having been refreshed with a modern on screen look as well as high editorial aspiration. We bring our viewers the latest breaking news, biggest entertainment stories and exclusives and we have a lot of fun along the way.

The Assistant Floor Manager will work as part of our live multi-camera studio team, providing support to our Floor Management team on a rotational basis. They will report into one of the Floor Managers and work across all four, live daytime programmes.

The Assistant Floor Manager is the conduit on a show between the editorial staff and the studio being across the movement of guests to ensure they are ready for their appearance on screen. They will be across backstage logistics like guests going through makeup and being fully briefed as well as being across the safe delivery of any necessary paperwork and props to the studio. They will be in constant liaison with different departments both backstage and on the studio floor to ensure the smooth running of the show as well as being reactive to sudden changes in the programme i.e changes to running orders, breaking news and issues with guests as well as assisting with operations on the studio floor to free the Floor Manager for other duties.

You must have demonstrable and proven experience of working in a live studio environment as well as having worked with a variety of production staff. You must also have an awareness and working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation, policies and practices. It's essential applicants have a flexible and positive approach to work and exceptional team working skills. You will also have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise, problem solve and be a great communicator.
