The Assistant Creative Producer is responsible for creating high quality broadcast design solutions that demonstrate the AJMN editorial message.

Other responsibilities are designing still and motion graphics, real and virtual reality sets, conceptualizing and coordinating with other departments (News programmes, Web, New media etc.) which ensure compliance with AJMN's network creative guidelines during the development and delivery of creative solutions that give AJMN a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and production of bespoke and automated on-air and online information graphics using VizRT and Apple Mac/PC platforms (Adobe Creative Suite etc.).
• Creation of storyboards, development and communication of creative solutions and application of ideas for programme packages and TV animation. Print and interactive projects for the channels.
• Working in a flexible shift pattern, including weekends
• Producing high quality information design for both news and programmes
• Collaborate with the Senior Designer and/or the Lead Designers on major projects
• Take direction from the Senior Creative Producer
• Collaborate with and take direction from other members of the creative team as well as production staff members
• Management of time within the project schedule to ensure the meeting of deadlines
• Enhance the delivery of news and programs on the screen in different and unconventional ways using creative graphics representation

Other Responsibilities
• Remain up to date on the latest developments in the field and be involved with design organizations
• Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested
• Assist other department sections in execution of graphic and related creative materials at peak times
• Field design and setup of interactive solutions for special coverage

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
• Bachelor's degree qualification in Visual Communication, Graphics Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia etc. or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent aesthetic and colour sense.
• Advanced knowledge of motion and still graphics software and hardware
• Experience of design platforms on both Mac and PC
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, VizRT systems
• Knowledge of news and current affairs
• Good understanding of contemporary designs, trends and issues
• Ability to storyboard and communicate a creative idea
