Guys & Dolls Casting has been the exclusive agency on several Netflix Blockbusters and are gearing up for more this year.After what has turned in to a very successful 2018, and more projects in the pipeline for this new year and beyond we are in need of an Assistant Booker, who is an administration whizz kid, to join our established team.Our Offices are in NW London Mill Hill, please workout travel time before applying as we favour people that can get from door to our offices within an hour. Please let us know your travel time and your location in your covering letter.Working within the Film and TV industry can be exciting but also very demanding and often time critical. We are looking for someone with good intelligence, initiative and confidence. Someone who is a problem solver, energetic and wants to challenge themselves. We're also interested to hear from Assistant Directors that are looking for a change of path from the freelance world, but keen to stay in this adventurous industry and needing stability in a full-time job.Key Responsibilities and tasks will include:-• Working alongside our Head Booker in the administration requirements of booking artistes and achieving the needs of the clients we work with.• Liaising with artistes to check availabilities, confirm bookings and sending out comprehensive briefings for artistes who are about to head to set.ABOUT YOU - Desired Skills and Experience Requirements:• A Level English Language is a desired qualification.• A strong ability to multi -task, organise your own time and prioritise between different responsibilities.• Self-motivated with great time-management skills, including the skill of working to short deadlines.• Confident communication skills - both written and verbal when dealing with clients and artistes. Must show a high aptitude for spelling, punctuation and presenting information clearly in both email and through our communication systems.• Ability to stay calm and focussed when dealing with high pressure, demanding situations and clients.• Computer literate and strong desire and sharpness to learn and pick up our comprehensive booking system (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel)• A Great Team Player and someone with a good sense of humour.Please send covering letter and CV.
