Twig World is a rapidly expanding, award-winning digital media company focused on educational delivery on a global basis. Twig currently offers over 3,000 high quality short format films tailored to the international curricula plus comprehensive support materials designed for teachers and learners.Twig's products aim to instill in students a sense of excitement for the subjects they are learning whilst increasing the confidence and creativity of teachers to deliver brilliant lessons.
Twig is now seeking an Archive Manager to assist in the management and delivery of content licences, manage the Twig media library and clear the archive footage used in Twig's multimedia resources. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the development, research and production of new Twig products.
Role
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Source and clear archive materials and conduct the day-to-day contact with core suppliers
- Re-license additional third party materials outside of our core suppliers, as required
- Manage the Twig media library
- Process tape and digital content requests ensure that this content is correctly catalogued when it comes in
- Produce reports illuminating the legal constraints, if any, regarding distribution of our product
- Ensure that all the relevant music, footage and stills licenses are up to date and renewed as needed
- Where appropriate identify new suppliers and, under guidance, negotiate license agreements
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven track record of clearance and archive research
- Media Librarian experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent research skills
The following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience working with EDLs and PASCs (Programme as Completed Forms)
Contract: Full Time or Part Time, Permanent Position
Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 dependent on experience.
