Jellyfish Animation are looking for a brilliant Animation Director to join one of their television animation series.

Working closely with the Head of Animation, you will be responsible to ensure that the animation for the series is completed and delivered on time, to the agreed quality standards, keeping it aligned to the clients wills and briefs. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Animators, making sure they deliver consistent performances.

As the Animation Director, you will follow the brief of the Series Director and will oversee the creative output of the animation team. A good understanding of the implications of performance, style, quality, continuity, technical, scheduling and budgetary requirements of the Production complete the profile.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential requirements
* Extensive experience in Animation;
* Experience in a similar role - previous Animation supervision experience is a plus, however a lead animator with considerable experience of series work, can be considered for this role;
* Excellent leadership;
* Extensive knowledge of Maya;
* Ability to interpret decisions and to communicate them to the animation crew;
* Strong planning and organisational skills;
* Organisation and attention to detail/accuracy;
* Excellent communication (verbal and written skills);
* A positive focussed approach to work;
* A proactive approach - continuously finding ways to improve processes for ease and efficiency.
