Location: Remote working, but based at Aardman's studio in Bristol when required, abiding to current Covid protocols & procedures.

We are looking for an Animatics Editor to become part of Aardman's first fully in-house CG/mixed medium series. The series will be 52eps x 11mins.

The purpose of this role will be to provide experienced editing services across the timed cuts and animatics, working to the creative vision of the Series Director, and shaping the look of the animation ensuring strong storytelling.

The successful candidate will set up the edit pipeline, working alongside the production team, CG Super, HODs and internal pre-existing teams at Aardman. A key part of this role will be to ingest and compile timed boards from the Series Director and Head of Story's thumbnailed panels, as well as animatic cuts from the storyboarding team.

You will aid the production team with voice records at an external studio and work closely with the production team to ensure editing sessions adhere to the schedule.

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a positive approach to their work. You will have a good understanding of video and audio formats with experience of using Premiere and Photoshop essential. Strong organisations skills and an ability to prioritise episodes and work to tight deadlines is key.
