Profile:
UEFA's Media Rights & Production Services Unit is looking to recruit a creative, dynamic, motivated and experienced Additional Programming Producer to play a key role in the production and delivery of content across UEFA's multiple video platforms (both internally and online). The successful applicant will join the rest of the unit in working to ensure the delivery of the key tasks and responsibilities outlined below.
Purpose:
The Media Rights & Production Services Unit oversees host broadcast operations and additional programming for all UEFA competitions, delivering guidelines and quality control for all matches, along with full host broadcast services for certain territories and technical and/or production support for others.
The unit is divided into the following five sections, with experts overseeing each area:
- live production and venues;
- technical services and facilities;
- administration, contracts, and financial and legal issues;
- additional programming;
- digital media.
The delivery of top-quality additional programming forms an integral part of the unit's output.
Reporting to the additional programming management team, and working alongside an editor in UEFA's in-house production facilities, the Additional Programming Producer will be responsible for delivering short and long-form content that is both engaging and relevant to a wide range of target audiences.
Spanning all of UEFA's 17 national team and club competitions, this role will also involve the successful production of internal and corporate content. The Additional Programming Producer will therefore need to work with UEFA's various units to deliver the best content possible, adopting a creative approach while ensuring that the final product adheres to legal and brand guidelines and is delivered on budget.
The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for, and in-depth knowledge of, European football, both at international and at club level, as well as a keen awareness of current trends and styles within the TV, video production and social media industries.
The Additional Programming Producer will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues.
Requirements:
Experience required:
- from 4 to 6 years in a TV production or corporate video environment.
Languages:
- English / Advanced
Additional requirements:
- Experience of producing single and multi-camera shoots
- Knowledge/experience of Adobe Premiere, as well as an understanding of file formats, conversions and exports
- Experience of live outside broadcasts is preferred.
