Start Date: ASAPContract: 12 months fixed term contract initially Part Time: 15 hours per week (2 days a week) Salary: depending on experience Location: Gas Ferry Road, BristolThe Aardman Academy works with talent, industry, universities and other external organisations to deliver bespoke enhancement courses and masterclasses for our own people, students, lecturers and other appropriate partners. For more information about the Aardman Academy, please go to: https://www.aardman.com/academy/ Reporting to the Academy HOD, the Academy Producer is responsible for the design and delivery of bespoke short courses, masterclass events, diversity, outreach and international programmes. The Producer will have a good knowledge of film and animation and be confident in running programmes alongside Aardman professionals. You will need previous experience in production &/or project management with an extensive knowledge and experience of the animation/film industry.We're looking for an ideas person who can come up with new ways to develop the Academy offering as it aligns to our strategic objectives. Candidates will need good financial acumen with experience of running tight budgets. A self-starter with a proactive and adaptable approach and a flexible team player is a must. You will need excellent communication skills with the ability to represent Aardman externally. We're looking for someone who is tech savvy - with knowledge and experience of using different project management and software systems. Some experience in the design and delivery of on-line courses &/or as a lecturer in animation or film is desirable, but not essential.
