SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Brown Bag Films UK is recruiting for the position of 2D DESIGNER for assets being created in Toon Boom Harmony.

Working in a busy creative environment, the successful candidate will work on a new 52x11' pre-school action comedy series, providing 2D design across props, characters and effects.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with other designers and lead character designer in the creation of character turnarounds and model sheets, props and basic effects.
Draw within an already established style.
Work in photoshop to design.
Prepare some basic assets for use in toonboom harmony.
Maintain and organise assets and files efficiently
Address notes given by lead character designer

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience as a 2D designer in animation production preferred
Animation experience a bonus
A strong design portfolio demonstrating a good understanding of character and prop design.
Able to demonstrate design work aimed at the target audience
Experience drawing in and using Photoshop a must
Experience in Toon Boom Animate Pro or Harmony preferable but not essential
