We are looking for a Mid-Level 2D Animator / Illustrator to join a design consultancy based within an international financial company in Shoreditch.

You will play an important role in helping to develop engaging content for a wide range of clients and you will report to the Head of Video and the Animation Director.

ABOUT THE ROLE

POSITION: 2D Animator / Illustrator

SALARY: Competitive, dependent on experience

START DATE: Immediate, flexible

LOCATION: London

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create sketch storyboards and animatics.
Illustration of key assets and work closely with additional illustrators over a range of projects.
Work over a wide range of animations including 2D character driven explainer animations through to graphics for live action.
Quickly develop ideas and concepts for prototype animations and effectively demonstrate your ideas.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Advanced knowledge of After Effects including plugins, add-ons and methods.
Advanced knowledge of Illustrator.
Strong illustration, vector illustration and animation skills.
Strong typographic and design skills.
Experience using Boords.
A good understanding of tracking and compositing.
A problem-solver who can take an awkward brief and come up with solutions.
