For the February Edition we\u2019re delighted to be hosting Label 1 Co-Founder and Creative Director, <strong>Simon Dickson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simon Dickson<\/strong><br \/>\nWidely regarded as one of the industry&#8217;s most prominent and captivating creative thinkers, Dickinson has a reputation for approaching mainstream factual subjects from a unique perspective.<\/p>\n<p>BAFTA-nominated for Discovery\/Channel 4&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Plane Crash<\/em>, his credits include titles such as\u00a0<em>Bear Grylls&#8217; Wild Weekends<\/em>, along with multi-camera &#8216;rig&#8217; shows\u00a0<em>One Born Every Minute<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Hotel<\/em>, both of which he commissioned when he was head documentaries at Channel 4.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PRWFcNH4WF8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A Former MD of Dragonfly Film &amp; Television Productions,\u00a0Simon co-created of\u00a0<em>24 Hours in A&amp;E\u00a0<\/em>and in 2015 led the revamp of <em>First Dates.\u00a0<\/em>Most recently, he was Executive Producer for BBC Two&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Hospital<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Hospital<\/strong><br \/>\nCalled \u201cextraordinary\u201d by the Times and \u201cbrilliant and brave\u201d by the New Statesman, <em>Hospital <\/em>explores London\u2019s Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F2M3Cz8fXpk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Edited and broadcast just a few weeks after filming was completed, the documentary averaged around 2.5 million viewers a week.
