Post Production Assistant

Central London

Post Production Assistant - Full Time

Post Prod assistant required to support a small but busy post dept at a top Soho-based corporate.

Alongside general post prod duties the Post Prod Assistant works with the team to produce pitch documents and accompanying DVD showreels.

Key responsibilities:

Log/capture/transfer/archive rushes from tape-based and tapeless formats
Set up FCP/AVID projects and organise rushes for editors
Produce DVD showreels to a high standard
Produce InDesign pitch documents to a high standard
Populate and maintain archive databases


Essential Skills:

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro
Working knowledge of DVD Studio Pro
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
Working knowledge of compression software and techniques
Understanding of online delivery methods
Keen interest in Post Production Technology

AVID/AE/Photoshop knowledge is desirable but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone new to the industry to learn and progress.
