Production (Studios) is part of the Sky Production Services of Sky, and is responsible for the efficient provision of all studio production requirements. The Vision Mixing Department is part of Production (Studios) contributing to the effective and efficient technical delivery of all live and recorded studio based productions.

Due to an increasing number of productions being made onsite, we have several contract opportunities for Vision Mixers to join our busy department. You will be a proactive member of the studio vision mixing team, focussed on the day-to-day delivery of the live and pre-recorded mixing responsibilities that bring Sky TV's programming to air. This is to be achieved through the effective use of the Vision Mixing resources throughout Sky's Osterley studios.

Alongside your manager, you will be responsible for enhancing your knowledge and expertise (through on-air experience and relevant training) of the vision mixing equipment used throughout all of Sky's studios.

When allocated to a broadcast, and in collaboration with the production team, you will execute the programming needs in either the live or pre-recorded environment. Naturally, you will have a good understanding of what makes a good vision mixer, and will have had experience with Grass Valley Group or Sony vision mixing desks.

Naturally you will need a good eye for detail and strong time keeping and will be able to work in a pressured environment.
