Videographer

Hammersmith, London

This role will localize content from the US for local markets. Working closely with Marketing and Creative you will assist with the production of all; video graphics and effects, and assist with film production and editing. This person also works closely with the Video Producer in San Bruno on storyboard/script creation and editing of all digital assets for Stella & Dot. This person will be responsible for ensuring that Stella & Dot's online video presents is consistent with Stella & Dot best practices and the Stella & Dot branding guidelines. This qualified person will support the European Team with all aspects of producing, developing, filming, launching and promoting videos for Stella & Dot across our 3 European markets.

The Video Editor/Videographer must be an enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadline-sensitive projects. This role requires strong video editing, animation/motion graphics, video production, creativity, project management, knowledge of video editing systems and inter-personal skills. Additionally the video editor will have a proven ability to film video; including proper framing, audio set up, lighting set up, stage set-up.

Requirements:

• Proven verbal/written communication skills
• Basic level of Project Management Skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and turn productions around quickly yet maintain a high level of quality
• Familiarity with social media and understanding of trends
• Fluency in motion graphics, animation, sound and video editing software.
• Extensive working knowledge of digital video cameras and equipment, this includes:
-Final Cut and other Non-Liner Systems - high experience
-Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effect, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programs is a requirement.
-Complete understanding of digital cameras and shooting techniques
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills on the fly
• Understanding of shooting, editing, and publishing video for the web
• Resourcefulness and organization are essential
• A passion for video and technology in general
• Experience managing Video Archive
• Good level of either French or German would be a desirable skill
• Advanced knowledge of Final Cut 7, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Flash, Photoshop, Audio, Video and lighting equipment.
• Fashion Retail Experience is a Plus but not necessary
• 3+ years of experience, with at least 1-2 years of online video experience
• Demo Reel Required for all interviews
