Video Production Assistant

Hoxton, London

We're looking for a Video Production Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a junior role with key responsibilities as follows:
> Creating and administering production documentation including call sheets, release forms and continuity sheets
> Assisting Producers with pre-production (research, booking of crew, equipment, locations, talent etc)
> Supporting Producers on shoots in keeping clients, talent and crew happy and the production running smoothly
> Keeping track of expenses throughout production, including responsibility for petty cash
> General support and assistance for the video team when in the office
> Administering Nonsense video equipment - Preparing equipment for shoots including charging of batteries and checking kit in and out before and after each shoot.
> Coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance when necessary. Ensuring the Video Room and equipment storage is kept in order
> Researching inspiration and visuals for new projects when briefed
> Assisting the Nonsense social team as a representative of the Video Department by documenting day-to-day activity with photography and short video clips

Skills & Requirements:
> Experience working in both production and post-production environments, both on location and in the office
> Experience or desire to learn video editing to support with post production as required (training will be provided)
> Strong teamwork ethic
> Strong organisational skills
> Excellent time management
> Ability to communicate well with other members of production crews
> Ability to work independently from a brief
> Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at any one time
> A keen interest in photography and video in all their forms
> Ability to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
> Initiative
> Enthusiasm

Other desirable skills:
> Experience or desire to learn camera operation
> Experience in art department/set dressing
> Experience with sound/music editing
> Design/layout skills
