Video Content Producer Director

Right now we're looking for Video Content Producer Director to join our team, based at our Media & Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park.
Reporting into the Video Content Production Manager, you will be responsible to direct and produce on-brief Video Content for all the QVC platforms, as well as lead the creative direction for video content, ensuring our audience enjoy a consistently engaging experience to maximise viewership, and subsequently sales.

Main Accountabilities:

You will originate ideas for all video content ensuring that the highest standards are met and maintained, this can include promotional on-air campaigns, editorial inserts, digital initiatives and marketing output.
Create and write proposals, storyboards and scripts for all video content to enhance the sales of specific products or brands within all QVC platforms.
Collaborate and work closely with other creatives and stakeholders across the QVC business to produce coherent, consistent, and creative campaigns.
Direct location shoots. Anticipate and proactively resolve problems and challenges that may arise on the shoot.
Manage crew on location shoots.
Lead teams, sometimes of 20 people on a shooting day
To constantly review own work, sometimes with direct line manager, other times in our monthly team meeting, to ensure your own standards continue to meet or exceed the expected level of performance, and to feedback to other team members.
Take a leadership role when attending Creative Kick Off meetings, and offer creative direction across departments to ensure that produced material is aligned across all platforms.
Make decisions on products, props, locations, models, make up, transport and all other logistical requirements associated with every shoot.
Responsible for writing approval forms, risk assessments, shooting schedules and follow up administration in accordance with QVC Guidelines.
Manage the full production process from inception to delivery. This includes briefing others such as production crew, graphics designers and editors.
Deliver productions on budget, looking to make them as cost-effective as possible.
Communicate clearly with all stakeholders
Accountable for ensuring all output complies with Ofcom and ASA guidelines, and is legally compliant to protect QVC's credibility.

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent in a media related course who has been working as a Content or Promo Producer, or similar position that requires the same skills.
The successful candidate will be able to write powerful scripts or copy, have experience of graphic design and marketing techniques along with proven ability to create and present effective storyboards. Knowledge of product and brand awareness would be an advantage.
Experience of PSC location directing is essential along with experience of offline editing (FCP/Quantel/Adobe).
