IOD Productions is looking for a Technical Floor Runner to join us on a very exciting stop motion feature film, currently shooting in east London. We are looking for a technically minded individual to provide first level of technical support on the studio floor. Although you report to the Digital Systems Manager, you will be liaising directly with the ADs team, Animators, Camera Team and VFX department. Responsibilities:- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows PCs in the studio- Troubleshoot issues with animation software (Dragonframe), database and studio pipeline - Manage permissions and active directory access- Maintain studio network cabling with basic switch management- Install and troubleshoot printers and other peripherals.- Perform any general purchasing and asset management as required Essential Skills:- Good communication skills - A passion for technology and willingness to learn- Strong problem investigation and resourcefulness Nice to haves- Confidence with Linux and mac OS- Experience with DSLR cameras- Basic web-design- Experience of VFX software, license servers and render farms Immediate start required, with specific training provided on the job.
