Studio Assistant

White City, London (W12)

The Studio Assistant is a key role for Red Bee - it's the person who supports the day-to-day running of the agency. This role works most closely with the Senior Operations Manager to make sure that the agency always runs efficiently.

The Studio Assistant's role is broad and challenging - getting stuck into a lot of what's going on in the business. Specifically, the role consists of tasks including diary management, setting up meetings, greeting visitors, arranging catering, opening job codes, managing senior management travel, reporting any office issues to the building admin team, liaising with IT to resolve tech problems, being the voice of Red Bee (answering the phone and our emails), pulling together materials for our weekly agency meetings, arranging for the payment and collection of invoices, entering creative work for awards, liaising with event organisers, scanning documents and booking couriers.

Responsibilities also extend to entering and tracking financial information and maintaining spreadsheets, as well as managing the creative asset library (a digital store of all of our work) and looking after our kit (cameras, hard drives, tapes, etc).

We see this role as an entry level position with the ability to learn, grow and take on other challenges in the agency. For example, the previous people to hold the positon have moved into roles in the Production and Account Management teams - a clear career progression that we would like to encourage in the future too.

Reporting Lines and Key Relationships

The Studio Assistant will report to the Senior Operations Manager. You'll also work closely with people in most parts of the agency but particularly the Management Team, and the Production, Design and Creative teams.
