Station Producer

Fareham

Working as part of the Programming team you'll produce compelling, relevant and entertaining programming and commercial audio for our Heart and Capital listeners.

You'll work closely with the Managing Editor, developing programming and SPI solutions that will enable the station to meet its business objectives.

As part of the Programming team you'll produce compelling, relevant and entertaining programming and commercial audio for our Heart and Capital listeners.

What will you be doing:

You'll work closely with the Managing Editor, developing programming and SPI solutions that will enable the station to meet its business objectives.
You'll assist in the co-ordination and administration of the relevant parts of all SPI activity which will include the writing and production of scripts, promos and online. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all SPI and programming audio is ready to go when it should be.
You'll assist in the implementation of plans and strategies of Heart and Capital programming.
You'll oversee the station website and Social Media to make sure that the content is always up to date.

A natural problem solver, together with your creative flair and judgement you'll choose the right programming solutions for Global.
You'll understand the needs of our internal clients as well as those of our listeners and ultimately the advertiser, therefore ensuring that everything contributes to the programming objective of providing the right audience for our sales team and our clients.
You'll be confident when working towards your own personal objectives as well as helping others in achieving business goals, regularly setting and stretching new standards and goals.
You'll have loads of experience from working in a similar type role and will be confident using Pro-tools, Genesys, Adobe, GUSTO online content management systems (or similar) and should be competent on social media including Twitter and Facebook.
