BT Sport Production ManagerLocation: Stratford + travelCompetitive + car allowance, healthcare, pension and benefits.A key member of the Creative and On Air Team reporting to the Head of Creative and On Air, the Production Manager will support the implementation and execution of all promotional and design projects assigned to the department on and off-air.Key Responsibilities• Provide strong inspirational Production Management to set a clear direction for the department to output great work, setting clear performance standards across the team and develop talent to enhance skills and performance.• Supervise and manage production and departmental budgets.• Assist with production management of projects following creative brief and within budget.• Manage a team of Production Co-ordinators• Assist and support the Head of Creative and On Air, as well as Design Manager and Promo Manager.• Liaise with third parties including production and facilities partners, content providers, agencies and other business units with BT plc.• Occasional travel on location as and when required this may include weekend work occasionally.• To hire freelancers according to skillset for the briefs given.• Help drive efficiencies across the department to implement workflows which streamline and enable us to best deliver the work we produce. Experience & QualificationsRequired Skills• Experience working as Production Manager or Production Co-ordinator within Production.• Demonstrable experience managing a team.• Extensive experience managing budgets.• Detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process of the creative workflow from strategy to execution.• Experience in the Clearcast process.• First-rate attention to detail.• Excellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.• Experience working with ScheduAll or other booking systems is desired.• Ability to work under pressure and to fixed time lines.• Good logistics and planning ability.• Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.• Proven people management skills.• Excellent organizational and interpersonal/ communication skills.• Understanding of promo work and Adverts work flow desirable.PLEASE NOTE: Essentially this is a 9am to 5pm position, considerable flexibility will be expected from the successful candidate. Additionally, on site presence at shoots is a key requirement, productions can often run into the evening and can be arranged at weekends. Candidates must be able to provide evidence of the Key Skills below on their CV.
