We encourage and update ideas, communicate regularly and support the in house achievement of personal and professional goals.Title: Senior EditorReports to: Chief Creative OfficerWorks: 5 days a week Purpose of the jobEditing, sound mixing, finishing and handling of media shot for and by Hub as directed by Hub's Chief Creative Officer (and senior management team). This may include content for broadcast, the internet and the corporate sectorMain tasks- Responsible for off and online editing (in Premiere and Avid) of content as directed by Hub's Chief Creative, Executive and Operating Officers in conjunction with the Production Coordinator- Overseeing maintenance and continued running of editing equipment including edit suite and data storage devices by Edit Assistants- In conjunction with the Chief Creative Officer, providing guidance to the Edit AssistantsGeneral Duties- Online and offline editing of briefs by the Chief Creative Officer with a high standard of editorial judgment- Ensuring that all content is quality controlled before passing to CCO, Producer or Assistant Producers and / or clients by watching out all outputs before delivery, ensuring online quality specification including audio and colour to required post production specifications- Completing projects as directed in project briefs and as directed by the Chief Creative Officer to the required standard- Ensuring all communication with clients is carried out on a friendly and professional basis- Overseeing of archiving projects by Edit Assistants in compliance with Hub's post production requirements- In the Edit Assistants absence, responsible for media management including transcoding, encoding and archiving content in line with Hub's post production guidelines- Responsible for personal and some team aspects of health and safety - Commitment to own professional development in line with Hub's culture
