The Role

Act as support to Production Manager with day-to-day office tasks including various production and travel bookings.
Provide back up with support to other runners in the TV department and general office when it is busy with productions from time to time.
Update crew shifts on the internal company software used to track shifts.
Fetching and carrying items, such as equipment, tapes, cable and scripts.
Organising the set up of shoots at various locations and the studio.
Keeping the set clean and tidy.
Photocopying and undertaking general administrative work.
Taking care of petty cash and reconciling expense claims.
Sorting out the kit bags and checking that the camera bag contains all the necessary items necessary for the shoot.
Creating and Distributing call sheets etc.
Driving and running production errands.

You Need

Minimum 2 years experience as a studio and location runner in television.
Enthusiasm and willingness to take on any task.
Good communication and 'people' skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Initiative.
Flexibility and adaptability.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Willingness to work long hours when necessary.
